CVManager Retail

Developed for retail businesses, CVManager Retail is a simple solution tailored to your staffing process, management style, and organizational structure. Whether your business requires your stores to have full independence in the hiring process or that staffing remains centralized through the HR Department, CVManager Retail can prove a valuable time and cost-saving tool.

CVManager Retail allows you to:

  • Involve not only store managers, but regional managers as well along with any other decision-maker involved in the staffing process.
  • Grant partial or total autonomy in the hiring process to district or store/branch managers.
  • Control quality and performance.
  • Computerize the better part of the administrative tasks and processes.

1. If your stores have Internet access, store managers can connect to a streamlined CVManager interface adjusted to their needs.

Here is how it works:

  • The HR Department develops job postings/descriptions and preselection forms; then store managers only need to select which jobs they want posted.
  • Applicants submit their unsolicited resume in the Careers Section and select the store(s) to which they are applying.
  • Candidates may also apply for a specific job.
  • Store managers will: Post their job offers in the job sites they select from the 170 sites available in addition to the corporate Careers Section and intranet.
  • They are invoiced directly.
  • Carry out a search by job and by store in the central data bank to find the appropriate candidate among unsolicited applications.
  • Manage applicant follow-ups: selecting candidates, keeping or rejecting resumes, organizing interviews, preparing job offers and hiring the selected candidates.
  • Managers have access to their store's activity report and the HR Department gets the big picture with the global activity report collating data from all stores.

2. If your stores do not have Internet access, we can provide a solution to meet your needs. For example, you could decide to involve store managers only at the applicant follow-up stage. In this scenario, the HR Department manages the job posting and broadcasting to selected job sites. When applications are filled in, CVManager selects candidates according to your preselection criteria and automatically e-mails the files of those qualified. Store managers then interview selected candidates and manage the hiring process.
